Kate Middleton and Prince William have a lot to celebrate this 2021.
The British Royal Family has continued to scale up their royal engagements and appearances these past few months. Like Prince William, he just had his first in-person outing on Monday.
As the working royals gear up for busier days ahead of them, reports said that they would mark several significant occasions this year. Hello! magazine even claimed that the future King’s birthday will be a lot more “extra special” this 2021.
Prince William will turn 39 this June
Prince William will turn 39 years old on June 21. The publication explained that it will likely be distinctive because of the Prime Minister’s recent announcement.
On Monday, Boris Johnson stated that the government will lift all of the lockdown restrictions in the United Kingdom on the said date. He also clarified that “all legal limits on social contact will be removed.”
The outlet emphasized that starting on June 21, the British public may proceed with “weddings, festivals, and work conferences” without restrictions. Moreover, nightclubs and all other related stores may start to reopen on that date.
The plan will move forward in accordance with the status of the COVID-19 in the country. This means that this will only push through if the coronavirus rates continue to fall. Accordingly, if all goes well, the British Royals, especially the Cambridges, will most likely have a grand celebration for the future King’s birthday.
Cambridges and their 20-year friendship
Apart from the lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions on Prince William’s birthday, the British Royal Family also has other celebrations to mark in the coming months. In April, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
Speaking to Royally Obsessed, podcast hosts Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito discussed the matter earlier in January. The Daily Express released a report about the engagement, noting that the royal couple will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of their first meeting.
As fans would recall, the pair met as students in 2001. Although it took a while before they started their relationship, their two-decade friendship appears to play a significant role in their lives as a married couple.
The royal commentators believed that Prince William and Kate Middleton will want to celebrate this occasion, hand in hand. They emphasized the importance of it, marking it, as well, as it “shows how stable” they are. Furthermore, this will seemingly benefit the future of the British Monarchy.
