Prince William hoped to reconcile with his brother during Prince Philip’s funeral. However, the long-awaited reunification became worse than ever.
A new report revealed that Prince William and Prince Harry remain on bad terms amid reconciliation rumors in April.
The royal family members hoped that Prince Philip’s funeral would make the brothers’ relationship better. But the Duke of Cambridge ended up pouring more fuel to the fire by calling Meghan Markle “that bloody woman.”
According to Daily Mail, the reserve to the throne used that phrase in one of his conversations with his friends.
“But look at the way that bloody woman treated my staff — merciless,” a royal source said, per Fox News.
The royal brothers’ relationship grew further when Prince Harry decided to leave his senior royal post to move to the U.S. It, reportedly, worsened when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared in a bombshell tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.
According to the source, Prince William and Prince Harry became fiercer than ever.
“The rage and anger between those two has grown so incredibly deep. Too many harsh and wounding things have been said,” the source added.
Royal watchers reacted to Prince’s words against Meghan
Following the news, internet users agreed to Prince William and said that Meghan deserves to be called that way.
One user said, “William was being REALLY kind when he called her that. I can think of a lot of other names for her, non of them good, but very fitting.”
Another added, “Never liked Markle. She always seemed so insincere and fake. I guess I was right this time.”
“Bloody Woman is true, but maybe on the Gentle Side,” one explained. “She tricks Harry into marriage, just to bolster her own business interests. Then, she gets Harry to abandon his royal duties, just for her own profits.”
Prince William’s disapproval of Meghan has also been known for years.
For what it’s worth, Historian Robert Lacey alleged that the royals’ feud became more intense because of the duchess.
Initially, it all, reportedly, started when the Duke of Cambridge doubted his brother’s “quick” choice to marry Meghan. At that time, the royal feud began.
They, fortunately, made things between them during the Sussexes’ wedding in May 2018. But a few months later, Meghan’s bullying came into the spotlight.
This caused the future King to remove the couple from the household they initially shared.
