Prince William was furious and very worried about Kate Middleton when their relationship went public.
Prince William and Kate Middleton started dating in 2003. They kept their relationship private for quite some time until it was publicized by a paparazzi photo in 2004.
A royal expert opened up about their romance on Channel 5’s William and Kate: Too Good to Be True documentary.
Prince William furious and worried
Prince William and Kate Middleton started as friends. And their friendship blossomed into romance.
According to Rebecca English, royal editor at the Daily Mail, their relationship hit the public eye in 2004. It happened when the duchess accompanied her then-boyfriend to a family ski trip to Klosters.
“Unfortunately for them, a paparazzi photographer took pictures of William and Kate clearly very close on the ski lift together. A red top tabloid newspaper slashed it all over their front page,” English said per Express.
“William was furious, and he was also genuinely worried for Kate and her family about what this would now mean for them.”
Kate Middleton’s mom allegedly arranged their meeting
Kate Middleton and her family faced various allegations after her relationship with the royal prince were confirmed. In fact, there were speculations that her mom arranged for her to meet the future king.
“At the time there were a lot of rumours going around that Carole might have tried to orchestrate the relationship by ensuring her daughter went to St Andrews,” English said.
Moreover, some sources said Middleton changed school when she learned that Prince William was attending St. Andrews. Initially, she was set to attend another university.
Also, there were claims that Middleton kept a poster of Prince William in her room. However, no one remembers that she had one.
Middleton addressed the poster issue during their engagement interview and denied it.
“He wishes,” Middleton said when asked about the issue.
“I had the Levi guy on my wall, not a picture of William.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton fourth baby rumors
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Prince William and Kate Middleton are having a quarantine baby. According to New Idea, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are due to welcome their fourth baby soon.
Royal expert Phil Dampier claimed that the lockdown made the duchess more broody.
“I’ve always thought the lockdown will result in a baby boom generally, so it wouldn’t surprise me if the Cambridges join the club!” he said.
