Prince William is following the footsteps of the late Princess Diana and is set to become the “People’s Prince.”
The news came after ITV Hub released a conservation documentary film “A Planet For Us All,” featuring the Duke of Cambridge and his two-year quest in the UK, Pakistan, and Tanzania “to find ways to protect the natural world for future generations.”
With this, royal expert Camilla Tominey mentioned that she saw a different Prince William, who was “at peace with himself.”
The royal was viewed, retaining a calm and outgoing vibe despite being hounded by personal questions.
‘William’s calm and thoughtful demeanor could not have been more at odds with historical reports of the “hot-headed” Prince’s “petulance,” she wrote in the Daily Telegraph.
Furthermore, Tominey also pointed out that it was the 38-year-old Prince poised to earn the moniker of “People’s Prince,”–a title previously given to her mother.
“Yet as the touching exchanges between the future king and these inner-city children revealed during Monday’s TV documentary on the environment, it is William – not Harry, who is taking on the role of the “People’s Prince.”
“The People’s Princess”
Princess Diana was dubbed by the public as the “People’s Princess” for touching many people’s lives through her numerous works and charities.
She served as a patron for more than 100 organizations, varying from animal protection, homelessness, fighting against the use of landmines, disabilities, and HIV/AIDS.
Furthermore, it was the Princess of Wales who brought the royal family closer to the public and made them feel more approachable and emphatic.
Prince William was “Overshadowed” By Prince Harry
One the other hand, the royal expert also quoted the royal author Ingrid Steward, who mentioned that Prince William’s “ability to connect with people” reminded her of Princess Diana.
In addition, she also pointed out that the Duke of Cambridge might be “overshadowed” by his younger brother.
“He’s very natural and not at all fake. He’s always had it, but I think perhaps he was overshadowed by Harry. Now he’s no longer on the scene; we are reminded that William has the same qualities in spades.”
Moreover, the royal authors also noticed how people praised Kate Middleton and her family for helping “pull back” and calm the “fiery” Prince.
The Duke of Cambridge and the Middleton’s have always had a good relationship.
Kate’s mother, Carole, had fully embraced the role of “Granny Middleton” to her three grandkids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
