Princess Anne has kept mum weeks after Meghan Markle suggested that there’s a racist within the royal family.
After her interview with Oprah Winfrey aired, Lady Colin Campbell claimed that Markle was referring to Princess Anne as the person that had concerns over Archie’s skin color.
However, Campbell also insisted that Markle misunderstood Princess Royal’s concerns. After all, Princess Anne was more worried about how Markle and Prince Harry’s relationship would work out when the former couldn’t accept the latter and his family’s royal traditions.
Princess Anne gearing up for a tell-all
Now, a source for Woman’s Day claimed that Queen Elizabeth’s only daughter is just biding her time before she responds to Markle’s allegations. And she will do it via a juicy tell-all.
“Princess Royal rarely gives personal interviews, but she’s considering making an exception to clear up any confusion. She does not think of herself as racist in the slightest and is disgusted her valid concerns have apparently been weaponized by the Sussexes and turned into this ugly business,” the source said.
Zara Tindall furious at Meghan Markle, Prince Harry
According to the source, Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara Tindall is also steaming mad at Markle and Prince Harry. Tindall couldn’t also believe that the Sussexes would involve her mom in their already tainted reputation.
“Zara and Meghan were never exactly friends, but the Sussexes have very much been dropped from her Christmas card list over this,” the source said.
Princess Anne, Meghan Markle rumors debunked
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. After all, Princess Anne is not the type to air her dirty laundry on television.
And if Princess Royal knows for a fact that it wasn’t her intention to question Markle’s skin color, there’s also no need for her to defend herself.
Additionally, it’s not also true that Tindall is furious with Prince Harry and Markle. After all, it’s possible that the Sussexes weren’t referring to Princess Anne during their interview.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t namedrop the royal that questioned Archie’s skin color. It was only Campbell that claimed that they were referring to Princess Anne.
