Deemed “irresponsible” as Princess was not wearing gloves or masks
Royal expert and commentator, Chris Ship shared on ITV’s Royal Rota that the photos received criticisms from the public, according to the New York Times Post. As explained, he showed them the photos of Princess Charlotte and read some of the comments on social media.
He said, “funnily enough,” many netizens have wondered why the young royal was not wearing “protection.” Some reportedly include calling her out as she might spread the virus. Others even went on to describe Princess Charlotte as “irresponsible” for not following guidelines.
Supporters defended the Cambridge royals
After sharing the comments in the segment, Chris Ship reportedly asserted that the Cambridge family has appeared to have left the food packages on the neighborhood’s front doors. He also went on to explain that Princess Charlotte did not enter the homes or touch them “in any way.”
Some netizens also slammed back the individuals who criticized the young Princess on social media. As stated, wearing gloves is much riskier than not wearing at all.
Today also released a report about Princess Charlotte and her fifth birthday. As reported, Kate Middleton took the photos back in April, which was already a few weeks prior to the young Princess’ birthday.
