Fans who have been eagerly anticipated the next PS Plus Free Games don’t have to wait any longer as Sony just unveiled what’s up ahead. Surprisingly, the company is once again giving away two AAA titles for next month.
The next PS Plus Free Games are Rise of the Tomb Raider and NBA 2K20. Players can grab these titles starting on July 7, and the offer will last up until August 3. Here’s why players should be excited for these two titles.
‘NBA 2K20’
NBA 2K is the undisputed king of basketball games currently, and NBA 2K20 is one of the best outings from the franchise. Aside from amazing physics and graphics, the game features a lot of modes to tinker with. Players should mostly be interested in the game’s career mode in which players create their own basketball start and rise through the ranks from rookie to legend.
NBA 2K20 has been praised for its graphics and physics, but it has been criticized for the in-game microtransactions as well. What’s good about the title is that it gets regularly updated with new rosters and bug fixes so players can still fully enjoy the game once it goes live.
It’s a must for basketball fans surely. It will also be a good game to play while players wait for the anticipated release of NBA 2K21.
‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’
Rise of the Tomb Raider is the follow-up to The Tomb Raider reboot. Fans should be very excited that it is a part of the PS Plus Free Games lineup for next month.
Rise of the Tomb Raider features some action-packed gameplay in harsh environments. Like in the prequel, survival skills are the key to keeping Lara Croft alive. It’s praised as a good follow-up to the reboot, and there’s so much that players can do in it. Aside from the lengthy campaign, the game also features a ton of side quests.
Perhaps the most exciting of the side quests in the game are the tombs. These offer amazing puzzle challenges for players to solve, and the rewards are resources, skill points, and more.
Players should be very happy with next month’s PS Plus Free Games lineup. While these may not please everybody, it’s good to see Sony give a total of four AAA games within two months. This gives fans high hopes for the August lineup.
