Sony was supposed to hold a special conference for the PlayStation 5 on June 4, but because of the riots in the US, the event has been indefinitely canceled. Still, fans are excited about the possible PS5 games that will get highlighted at the supposed event.
The conference was supposed to showcase the PS5 and the PS5 games lineup at launch. Now, we might have to wait a while longer before the event arrives. Let’s talk about the potential titles that will get their spotlight during the conference when it happens.
Godfall
Godfall is one of the confirmed titles for the PS5. It’s a new IP from Sony, and it is described as being Destiny but with a focus on swords and melee weapons. It is expected to be an action-packed action title in which players can form parties to fight in epic battles, as well as to scour various worlds for loot.
It is one of the most promising titles for the next generation, and we’re sure that Sony will reveal more details about it soon.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Microsoft has been very vocal and showing about the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, and Sony could soon follow suit. The upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will launch later this year for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
At its event, Sony could showcase what the game looks like running on the next generation of consoles. As it is one of the most highly anticipated PS5 games to launch with the console, this will certainly have a spotlight on the conference.
Watchdogs: Legion
The next Assassin’s Creed has been getting the most attention on Ubisoft’s end. However, fans are forgetting that a new Watchdogs is in the works, and it looks amazing.
Watchdogs: Legion is a new take on the open-world title. Instead of playing as one character, players will be able to use a host of new characters, each with their special abilities. This game deserves a lot of hype considering how big a change it is making from previous games, and it might take Sony’s conference to reveal more about the title.
Sony’s press conference may be canceled for now, but the hype remains for the PS5 games is still on. Hopefully, Sony rescheduled the event soon as fans are already excited to see what kind of titles they should expect once the new generation of gaming comes.
