Queen Elizabeth II prepares exciting surprise ahead Kate, Prince William’s 10th wedding anniversary

Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth II, reportedly, plans to offer something special to Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, before her 10th wedding anniversary with Prince William.

As the wife of the future King, Kate Middleton might receive another grant from Queen Elizabeth II before April 2021.

On Apr. 29, 2011, the heir to the throne married Kate at Westminster Abbey.

A few months before celebrating a decade of marriage, the Queen will, reportedly, hand her a new honor.

Last year, Her Majesty gave her the highest seal of approval. This made the Duchess of Cambridge a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.

This type of award is made personally by the Queen for the people who serve the sovereign.

For this year, Queen Elizabeth II is said to be planning to recognize Kate’s work again with another prestigious honor.

According to royal expert Duncan Larcombe, Her Majesty will not miss a chance to give her an award again.

“It’s highly likely she’ll be planning a special secret, something to honor Kate’s 10 years in the royal family – something she can do to mark it,” he told Ok! Magazine. “Kate and the Queen have a fantastic relationship.”

Despite their separation due to the coronavirus pandemic, the two, reportedly, maintained a close relationship. Kate’s ability to speak with the Queen directly also helps her keep in touch with the monarch.

Usually, the Duchess of Cambridge updates her about her and Prince William’s children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Duncan also revealed that Kate taught Queen Elizabeth II how to use video calls. That way, she is still able to see her great-grandchildren amid the lockdown protocols being imposed.

Kate, Prince William do not have a smooth relationship before

Their marriage made their relationship stronger. In fact, before their wedding day, Kate and Prince William almost parted ways.

Per royal author Katie Nicholl, the Duke and Duchess’ “love affair had run its course” in 2007.

In her 2010 book William and Harry, she revealed that Kate caught the royal prince partying and flirting with different girls near his military training base in London.

During that time, Prince William suggested that they should split.

Meanwhile, Prince Philip assured Kate that the prince would come back to her again and “present a ring when the time is right.”

Obviously, that truly happened, and things between the now-parents are getting stronger than ever.
