It looks like Sam Raimi will bring another surprising element in Doctor Strange 2 as Bruce Campbell looks set to make a cameo!
Several recent tweets from actor Bruce Campbell himself may have just confirmed his cameo in Doctor Strange 2. He’s worked with Sam Raimi in many of his past movies. So it looks like the MCU title will have him as well.
The sequel to the 2016 film will see Benedict Cumberbatch reprising his now-iconic role of Stephen Strange. Well, technically speaking, he’s now the Sorcerer Supreme.
Doctor Strange 2 and the multiverse of many theories!
Boy, it was a blast, working in a certain city, with a certain director on a certain movie with a certain actor – it sure was! pic.twitter.com/1q8pga0Miu

Coming back to Bruce Campbell and his cameo news then the possibility might end up being true. It becomes clear while looking at his recent tweet.
As you can see above, he’s mentioned an unnamed project that he worked on. But he seems pretty excited about it. Thus, there might be something cooking up already.
The fact that can’t rule out that he’s been a part of Raimi’s films, and so his cameo may appear in Doctor Strange 2 at some point.
As always, there’s no official word from Marvel Studios and the makers, but keen observers and MCU fanatics always keep finding possibilities.
Speaking of possibilities, then Doctor Strange 2 seems to be having a lot of them. Just like the Sorcerer Supreme’s vision of million instances of Avengers fighting Thanos.
Other rumors and speculations also hint towards a crossover with Spider-Man, a.k.a. Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. Then there’s a direct connection WandaVision TV series and its events. The latter, however, has already been announced by Feige himself.
Elizabeth Olsen will return in the movie as Wanda Maximoff, a.k.a. Scarlet Witch.
New MCU titles are coming soon
Meanwhile, the superhero cinematic universe is currently rebuilding its streak of the regular releasing cycle. Due to the pandemic, it faced a significant pause last year.
But WandaVision ended the drought of fresh content with its debut on Disney+ more than a month ago.
Now that things are looking hopeful again, the MCU is also ready with its new slate and line-up. Later this month, another franchise entry, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will make its way on the streaming platform.
However, there might be some issues for upcoming movies like Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and Eternals. Because due to increasing COVID-19 cases, most theaters are still closed. And people won’t like to go out in fear of getting infected.
If this situation remains unchanged in the coming months, then the films will have to arrive for streaming instead of a theatrical launch.
Furthermore, there are multiple other MCU entries scheduled to arrive in the next year. Some of the most-awaited names are Thor 4, Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, and Doctor Strange 2.
