Finally, Ubisoft has cleared the long-lasting confusion among the fans. Rainbow Six Quarantine will now be called Rainbow Six Extraction.
After a year of complications looming over the main title, it has a new and official name, Rainbow Six Extraction.
‘Rainbow Six Extraction’ reveal to happen at E3.
After sharing the revised name on Twitter, the makers also announced that a full reveal is coming this Saturday. Yes, it will happen during the upcoming E3 event.
Director Patrick Methé said players would face a wave of constantly evolving alien threats in the next entry.
He mentioned that players in the squad would decide about when to move forward or to extract. Simply put, Extraction is indeed the real name of the game, according to him.
It’s a pretty exciting turn of events, though. Because previously, Ubisoft said that the Rainbow Six Quarantine wasn’t supposed to get a new name.
But now it has, right?
All in all, it’s a great title.
The E3 session Ubisoft Forward will come up with a big reveal on Saturday regarding what to expect. The online event will begin at 12 pm PT/3 pm ET on June 12.
If you are interested in the full title, then it’s Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction.
It will be interesting to see the fans’ reaction upon witnessing the extended footage a few days from now. The surprise will be huge, for sure.
