Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton have been dating since 2018. However, one tabloid claimed that they are having issues due to fame.
OK! published a report claiming that Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton’s are going south. They are reportedly headed for splitsville.
Boynton was reportedly eager to have her own chance to shine. She was thrilled to see her boyfriend won an Oscar in 2019 and wanted to have a similar moment. She was allegedly willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.
Her boyfriend helped her and opened as many doors as he could for her, the outlet noted. However, after she landed a lead role in the upcoming biopic Faithfull, Malek found her ambition a little hard to take, an anonymous source said.
But the insider also added that they still have a chance if they prioritize their relationship. However, neither of them is willing to do that at present, the source added.
Gossip Cop examined the report and debunked it because more reliable outlets reported otherwise. In fact, the couple was spotted in Croatia, where Lucy Boynton is shooting her next project Thursday. The pair spent time together at the Hotel Esplanade.
A reputable eyewitness told E! News that the Mr. Robot star was in a great mood when he was in Miami but didn’t seem to outwardly flirt or be romantic with any women. The source added that he also met some fans, and he was very kind to them.
Rami made the trip to Croatia to see Lucy. She has been in Europe to film her British spy drama The Ipcress File with Joe Cole and Tom Hollander. Meanwhile, he was spotted hanging out at the beach in Florida with friends earlier this month.
Based on their recent photos, Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton are still going strong.
Lucy Boynton and Rami Malek met on the set of Bryan Singer’s Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, in 2017, InStyle reported. They were spotted at a Super Bowl party in Minneapolis in February 2018. After a few weeks, in March 2018, they attended the Miu Miu fashion show at Paris Fashion Week.
Since then, they have been inseparable. In January 2019, Malek thanked Boynton in his acceptance speech at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
“Thank you, Lucy Boynton. You have been my ally, my confidant, my love. Thank you so much,” he said.
