Insomniac Games’ Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart celebrates its official PS5 debut with a new launch trailer showing its story.
The trailer reveals the dimension-shifting aspect of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, along with other surprises as well.
‘Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart’ is already a critical hit!
At last, fans are now able to get their hands on the latest PS5 exclusive.
What’s remarkable for the Insomniac Games title is that it has already become one of the best-rated titles in 2021.
When it comes to reputed sites like Metacritic, Ratchet, and Clank: Rift Apart has an exceptional score of 89. As of this writing, it is based on 102 critic reviews.
Now, coming onto its recently revealed launch trailer, the clip gives a glimpse of what to expect from the fantastic game. Official PlayStation YouTube channel shared the video.
Despite being three minutes in duration, it focuses on the events of the story. It introduces Rivet and also Ratchet and Clank, who are trapped in an alternate dimension.
There is also lots of action along with the cinematic moments. Plus, Ratchet and Rivet are seen going against both versions of Nefarious.
The clip also tries to establish a new character, Rivet’s place in the game’s world.
The beginning of the trailer shows her rescuing a citizen on the streets of Nefarious city. What changes her life is an accidental detonation by Ratchet and Clank during a fight against Dr. Nefarious.

More video games coming in 2021
While many gamers are excited for Rift Apart, other enthusiasts are currently waiting for more upcoming releases.
Speaking of some of the most-awaited and anticipated heavyweights, STALKER 2 and Far Cry 6.
Horizon Forbidden West, a new Call of Duty entry, Dying Light 2, Psychonauts 2, and GhostWire: Tokyo are also on the list.
The line-up extends even further with the likes of Death loop, New World, Humankind, and Back 4 Blood.
Stray, Little Devil Inside, Scarlet Nexus, Cyber Shadow, Shadow Warrior 3, and No More Heroes 3 are other crucial launches.
Several recently announced projects making their debuts soon are The Day Before, Glitchpunk, and Etched Memories. The latter will turn out to be an exciting title. It will feature a Cat as the apex protagonist, named Biscuit.
Coming back to Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, again, it’s now available for PS5.
