PS5 exclusive Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart has become the number one selling game in the UK in its second consecutive week.
Insomniac Games’ latest offering, Ratchet, and Clank: Rift Apart, has topped the UK boxed sales chart for a second straight week upon its launch.
‘Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart’ is No.1 again
The sequel to its first part has already received rave reviews since its official release on June 11. It’s one of the best games out there when it comes to critical reception.
On Metacritic, currently, it has an exceptional score of 88 based on 117 critic reviews as of this writing.
GamesIndustry reported that Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart not only stood out as the best-selling title in its second week, but it also sold more units. It enjoyed a substantial increase of two percent in its overall physical sales in the UK in the second week.
Speaking of other titles, then Microsoft’s Minecraft Dungeons took the second spot for the week ending June 19. What’s remarkable about its jump is that previously it was in 28th position.
On the other hand, FIFA 21 dropped to the third rank despite a 21 percent increase in its sales week-on-week.
Mario Kart 8: Deluxe also witnessed a fall as it’s sitting in fourth place as of now. It happened despite a 47 percent increase in its sales.
The significant return, however, is of Resident Evil Village. It entered back in the top five after a 59 percent boost in sales due to an increase in demand for the PS5 version.
Here is the complete list of the top ten best-selling titles, in the UK, for the week ending June 19.
