A new Ratchet and Clank game will soon hit the shelves as Insomniac Games is, reportedly, working on it. Furthermore, the new game will be created using Media Molecule’s Dreams.
Ratchet and Clank is one of the popular games of Sony. Because of the game’s success, Ratchet and Clank were developed into spin-offs and movie adaptation. Unfortunately, the new game will only be available on PlayStation 4.
Initially released in 2002, the game has been dormant for quite some time now. Although, a remake of the original title came out in 2016. But for most of it, there were no new installments since 2013. Moreover, fans are now anticipating a sequel from the original title. The new announcement may not leave the fans happy, since the new game is not an official sequel.
Ratchet and Clank is being developed on PS4 Dreams
The announcement came from Media Molecule’s official Twitter account. The game’s designer, Josh Leman is responsible for building the new Ratchet and Clank within Dreams. Leman is also part of the team that helped developed Marvel’s Spider-Man and the PS4 remaster of Ratchet & Clank in 2016. Furthermore, a Livestream recently revealed the progress of the project.
