MBC has announced a new program called How A Family Is Made, in which 12 K-pop singers, actresses, and celebrities would live as a family
MBC has revealed that it is developing a new reality program. On August 20, it was revealed that MBC was preparing a reality program in which competitors would live together as a family.
MBC has previously broadcast variety programs with similar themes, in which K-pop stars live together and have their intimate moments caught on camera. We Got Married, one of their series, was one of the most talked-about shows when idols pretended to be married couples and lived together.
According to Naver news, the show’s title is still being finalized, and it will include not two, but twelve idols spanning from the first to the fourth generation of K-Pop group members. Throughout the duration of the program, all of these idols will live together and strive to become part of one other’s families.
Who will be joining the exciting program?
Idols such as Yubin from Wonder Girls will appear on the show. Among the first, second, and third-generation groups are God’s Son Hoyoung, Super Junior’s Ye Sung, and BTOB’s Seo Eunkwang. Im Na Young from I.O.I, Hyewon from IZ*ONE, and Lee Daehwi from AB6IX will all be in the cast.
Popular fourth-generation group members like as Xiaojun, Yangyang, and Hendery from NCT’s Chinese sub-unit WayV and Hyunjae from The Boyz will perform on the show. Kim Kang Hoon, a twelve-year-old child actor, is the newest addition to the cast.
Fans are more than excited for the airing of the show
Fans will like the interactions between each competitor, according to the producers, who are eager to check the show’s numbers. MBC’s reality program is expected to attract an audience outside of South Korea, particularly among K-pop fans in the United States, due to the global success of K-pop artists and K-dramas.
With the aid of well-known figures from South Korea’s entertainment industry, the show aims to introduce Korean family customs and values to audiences all over the world. There will be cross-cultural interactions in the familial ties shown on the show as well, thanks to the participation of certain Chinese idols.
