Realme C12 with 6,000mAh battery receives multiple certifications

The varying certifications received by the Realme C12 suggest that the new affordable smartphone will be released in numerous markets.

A new device in the Realme C series will be added as the Realme C12 has just surfaced with multiple certifications. With the model number RMX2189, the said phone is, reportedly, certified in Thailand, Indonesia, China, and Malaysia. Note that these countries are noted for being the strongholds for Realme.

Realme C12: 6,000mAh battery in the pipeline

Meanwhile, some of the phone’s listings revealed that the forthcoming device is set to work on a massive 6,000mAh battery capacity. Nevertheless, it will support charging rates of 5V at 2A, or 10W on paper. As it is, it may not come with a modern, fast-charging technology.

The Realme C12, which is likely to slot between the newly-minted Realme C11 and Realme C15, might arrive with some shared features. These could include an HD+ display with waterdrop notch, which should house a single, front-facing camera and Realme UI based on Android 10.

Still elusive

What remains elusive at the moment is the placement of the phone’s fingerprint scanner, the number of cameras on its rear, and whether the device will launch with the same Helio G35 chipset, the SoC that powers the Realme C11 and C15.

For now, we can only surmise that the Realme C12 could inherit some of the key features of the aforementioned two Realme smartphones.

To slot between the Realme C11 and Realme C15

To keep you in the loop of things, both the Realme C11 and C15 launched with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screens, with a resolution of 720 x 1,560 pixels.

Both smartphones also debuted with familiar design on their rear panels, headlined by a square-like camera module. Where the Realme C11 features a dual-camera setup on its back, the Realme C15 ups the ante and packs quadruple cameras instead.

Apart from MediaTek’s Helio G35 chipset, the Realme C11 and C15 differ ever so slightly with their succeeding features. For one, the former is coupled with a 2GB of RAM and an expandable 32GB of internal storage. The latter has 3GB/4GB of RAM tiers and 64GB of onboard storage. The phone also has expandable storage.

The Realme C15 also works on an enormous 6,000mAh battery, while the C11 has a slightly smaller, yet still generous 5,000mAh.

Both the Realme C11 and C15 also come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, but charge over a dated Micro USB port.

So, here’s hoping that the Realme C12 improves on some of these missteps.
