The Realme V5 also features a 48MP-headlining rear quadruple-camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery.
The Realme V5 is now in the flesh.
6.5-inch LCD with 90Hz refresh rate, rear quadruple cameras
The Realme V5 is built around a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. Its display also features a high 90Hz refresh rate and an unspecified Corning Gorilla Glass. Another highlight in this segment is the phone’s cutout, which houses a single, front-facing snapper.
The phone’s display is also listed with a 180Hz touch sampling rate and a 90.7% screen-to-body ratio.
On its back, the phone has a quadruple-camera setup, housed in a rectangular module. The system is front-lined by a 48-megapixel wide camera with an f/1.8 aperture. Its auxiliary sensors include an 8MP ultrawide sensor and two 2MP macro and depth lenses.
Inside the phone’s display punch-hole is a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.1 aperture.
Dimensity 720 5G with up 8GB of RAM, 5,000mAh battery
Realme’s latest mid-ranger also has solid internals. At the helm is MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 5G chip, which makes this device 5G-enabled. The phone is then coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM tiers and an expandable 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. It can be expanded to up to 256GB of extra storage.
An obvious takeaway of the device can also be found in this department. The Realme V5 has a massive 5,000mAh battery capacity, complemented by support for 30W fast wired charging. Accordingly, the smartphone with a dead battery can juice up to 100% in only 65 minutes.
The Realme V5 also sports Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has a fingerprint reader mounted on its side, which also doubles as its power button.
The Realme V5 runs on the company’s homegrown Realme UI, based on the latest Android 10.
