The upcoming X50 Pro Player Edition is purportedly geared for modern gamers.
After its launch date was confirmed recently, the full specifications sheet of the X50 Pro Player Edition has been leaked.
Snapdragon 865-powered gaming flagship
The newest, major development was shared by a noted tipster who revealed that the smartphone is set to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset. Additionally, the leaker tipped that the phone would be launching with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
The phone is also expected to arrive with more memory and storage versions.
Super AMOLED with 90Hz refresh rate
In the display department, the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition is slated to debut with a 6.4-inch display, with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. Previously, it was also hinted that the phone would arrive with a Super AMOLED display, with support for HDR10+. The phone’s front panel is also said to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The phone’s display is also revealed to pack a 90Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the official-looking render of the device which surfaced recently outed the screen’s pill-shaped cutout. The punch-hole, which is placed on the top-left section of the display, is confirmed to house 16MP + 2MP front-facing snappers.
The quad-camera system of the phone on its rear is also set to feature a 48MP main camera. The primary lens will then be flanked by an 8MP ultrawide and two 2MP depth and macro sensors.
The device is also pegged to feature a fingerprint scanner underneath its display. On the other hand, the phone is also listed with a 4,200mAh battery, with support for a staggering 65W fast wired charging.
One of the cheapest
Apart from the X50 Pro Player Edition being geared up as a gaming-centric device, the smartphone is also shaping up to be the cheapest one around. Accordingly, the phone is scheduled to launch with a price of CNY 3,299 for its 8GB/128GB edition.
The gaming-centric phone is set to become the latest entry of the popular Realme X50 series. Recently, Realme announced the X50 Pro 5G variant, which is almost similar with the Player Edition, just a tad more powerful.
With these specs in tow, the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition is truly shaping up to be Realme’s most promising release yet, notwithstanding its recent proper flagships, of course.
Realme is likely to excite its fans more frequently in the following weeks. Expect some of the phone’s vital gaming-oriented features to pop up anytime soon, leading to the device’s official unveiling.
