The weight loss transformation of Australian comedienne Rebel Wilson is genuinely remarkable.

Rebel Wilson started her weight loss journey at the start of 2020. As of August, she has, reportedly, lost about 18 kilograms.

The Pitch Perfect star has been cast in the musical because of her built. She played the role of Fat Amy.

In 2012, she revealed that movie executives don’t want her to lose weight at all.

Rebel Wilson was able to lose 10 kilograms as the face of weight-loss company Jenny Craig; however, she had to stop her exercise and diet because of a movie contract.

Speaking to The Telegraph at that time, “I have been filming a musical called Pitch Perfect in Louisiana for the past few months. And for my contract in that movie, I had to stay the same size.”

“I’d lost 10kg and then had to maintain that for the whole movie, which is quite difficult,” the 40-year-old star said.

During those days, the Isn’t It Romantic actress said she was lucky not to encounter any health problems.

Rebel continued to work for two more Pitch Perfect movies, with the sequel released in 2015, and the final installment was released in 2017.

Fat Amy to Fit Amy

Recently, Rebel shared her latest slimmed-down picture with a cryptic caption about her career choice.

She referred to her famous part in the musical film as she now dubbed herself as “Fit Amy.”

The star captioned the post, “Just call me: Fit Amy.”

Change is a big thing for Rebel Wilson this year because she’s just 3 kilograms away from reaching her weight loss goal.

This only means that she’s taking her career in a whole new direction. Goodbye to Fat Amy completely.

How did Rebel do it?

According to a report by People magazine, Rebel Wilson’s weight loss transformation is due to a diet plan she’s following.

The Mayr Method is said to eliminate food intolerances, reduce sugar, to eat whole foods, boost the immune system, and so much more.

Rebel also works out with her personal trainer six times a week and enjoys her protein shake portions as she goes on walks or hikes.

As for her workouts, she usually does a combo of HIIT, weights and resistance, and mobility.

Diet advice

On Sunday, Rebel shared a few pictures to her 8.7 million followers on Instagram and advised ladies who want to lose weight.

She captioned a picture of herself eating a slice of cake in a balcony, “Remember though girls, you still gotta treat yourself.”

“I just do it with food now only once or twice a week. And substitute bubble baths on alternate nights,” she added.
