Rebel Wilson experiences different treatment from the people before and after her dramatic 60-pound weight loss.
Rebel Wilson is looking great after losing 60 pounds, and she shared how the people treated her differently after her transformation. The Pitch Perfect star said when she was bigger, people don’t look at her twice.
Rebel Wilson shares the interesting part of her transformation
Rebel Wilson appeared on the Australian show, The Morning Crew with Hughesy, Ed and Erin, on Wednesday. During her guesting, she shared that the people are nicer to her now that she looks better.
“I think what’s been really interesting is how other people treat you,” she was quoted by Hollywood Life as saying.
“Sometimes being bigger, people didn’t necessarily look twice at you. Now that I’m in good shape, people offer to carry my groceries to the car and hold doors open for you.”
Aside from receiving better treatment, she was surprised how the people paid too much attention to one’s transformation. She couldn’t believe people were obsessed with her weight loss transformation when there were a lot of things going on in the world.

How did Rebel achieve her weight goal?
Rebel Williams has been sharing several posts of her outdoors running or working out on Instagram after announcing in January 2020 that she would dedicate the year for her health. Aside from working out, she changed her diet.
Wilson used to eat 3,000 calories most days, and they were usually carbohydrates, which kept her hungry. When she decided to lose weight, she ditched carbs for proteins.
Switching to a high-protein diet was challenging for her because she was not used to eating a lot of meat. For her new diet, she eats fish, salmon, and chicken breasts.
To make the whole process easier, she has cheat days. Although she gives in to her craving and indulges in burgers and fries, Rebel makes sure to limit her consumption.
Rebel after her weight loss
Rebel Wilson is proud of her weight loss journey. When she appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show, she shared how she failed to value herself with her previous weight. She admitted to being an emotional eater and having a sweet tooth.
Following her weight loss, Rebel Wilson feels more in control of her life. She also gets to produce movies. She feels like she’s coming together.
“I just feel like everything seems to be coming together, maybe I’m a late bloomer or something, but I’m slowly getting it together,” she said.
