Record of Ragnarok fans now has the reason to celebrate. Its official Twitter page finally reveals the release date of the famed manga series’ anime adaptation.
Netflix hears’ fans cry to see the battle between the mighty gods and the legendary mankind in an animated form. After the success of Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui and Ajichika’s manga, Record of Ragnarok is about to dominate the small screen.
Release Date and New Trailer
The franchise has finally dropped when fans will see the much-awaited new anime series. The long wait will be soon over as the ethereal battleground starts streaming on June 17.
The show will be out all over the world. So, local and international fans will get the chance to see the epic combat between gods and humanity’s strongest warriors.
The tweet also comes with a new official poster of Record of Ragnarok, showing the gods and humanity’s fighters

New Anime Series’ Plotline, Cast and More
As its preparation for the series’ coming, Netflix has already dropped the official synopsis of Record of Ragnarok.
“This mega-popular manga series with over 6 million copies in print finally receives an anime adaptation!” it said, via Comicbook.
“Representatives from throughout human history take on the world’s deities in 13 one-on-one battles — and the fate of humanity is at stake!” it continued.
Warner Bros. produces this much-awaited anime series, while Graphinica will bring it to life.
The animation studio is known for being behind some of the fiercest 3D CG battles, like Blade of the Immortal, Hello World and more. So, there is a great expectation surrounding the upcoming anime.
Meanwhile, fans are about to hear the voices of Souma Saitous for the series as Adam and Miyuki Sawashiro as Brunhilde.
Tomokazu Seki will also join the show as Lu Bu, Takahiro Sakurai as Poseidon, and Kazuhiro Yamaji as Kojirou Sasaki.
In addition, Tatsuhusa Suzuki will be heard as Shiva, Hikaru Midorikawa as Thor, and Wataru Takagi as Zeus, per HITC.
Record of Ragnarok started to wow fans in its manga form in 2017. It also has its own spin-off series, though it remains to be seen if it will also be adapted into an anime series.
