Fans are now looking forward to the continuation of the gods versus humans’ fight in Record of Ragnarok Season 2.
The first season has successfully dropped its 12 episodes in one go, and many fans have started to binge-watch it. After featuring three fights, will the viewers see more in Record of Ragnarok Season 2?
New Season Renewal
The anime adaptation of Shinya Umemura manga has finally made it on the small screen. Now that the whole season is out, fans cannot help but look forward to more.
Season 1 only features three fights and the rest may continue to the second season. But will Netflix give it the renewal viewers yearn for?
According to Recent Highlights, there is no news if Record Ragnarok Season 2 will come. However, it may not hurt fans to expect.
With the manga’s fame, it is no surprise that an anime adaptation has been made. However, it looks like the anime is yet to reach the peak of its fame.
MyAnime list, known for being the biggest international anime forum, only gives it a 6.5 rating out of 10. So, as they say, it is not a good sign, but it can still grow as more viewers may watch the series.
Alternatively, IMDb gives it a 6.3 rating out of 10, though it seems to be not that bad. The audience seems to dislike the anime’s quality, but it may have nothing to do with the renewal.
Several anime series have been axed and continued, no matter how low or high their ratings are. Content-wise, the manga has 47 chapters and the first season only adapts 20 chapters.
If the anime continuously adapts the manga’s pacing, more than 20 chapters are left for the second season to continue.
Now, it is up to the producer if they will continue the anime or not.

New Season Possible Storyline
If ever Record of Ragnarok Season 2 pushes through, it may continue three to four fights more.
The first season finale’s post-credits scene showed Jack the Riper and Hercules preparing for a big fight.
So, this may mean that fans may see an intense battle between these two.
The Cinemaholic noted the Greek hero might get some support from the Valkyries and humans, knowing he is a favorite.
However, if ever he wins, it may have something to do with Hlokk’s help. In the fifth fight, fans may see a brawl between Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction, and Raiden Tameemon, the iconic Japanese Sumo wrestler.
The latter may get the help of his Valkyrie partner, Prudr. In this faceoff, Siva may win, making the gods leading the tournament once again.
For the sixth match, fans may witness the brawl between Buddha, the Buddhism creator, who may switch sides and fight for the humans.
Anyhow, all of these depend if the Record of Ragnarok Season 2 gets a renewal or not.
