What to expect from Xbox Game Pass release
As mentioned earlier, the May 7 debut of Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox Game Pass for Console should promise additional Story Mode goodies, as well as a “fully-featured” Photo Mode.
On top of those things, the release will also offer fans of the hit action-adventure epic access to the shared realm of Red Dead Online, free of charge.
In the world of Red Dead Online, gamers can choose to play a wide range of characters, whether it’s trying to capture fugitives of the law as a Bounty Hunter, searching for precious loot as a Collector, launching a business establishment as a Trader, or even managing a discrete distillery as a Moonshiner.
As for those who are currently subscribing to Xbox Game Pass but can’t wait two weeks, they can actually pre-download Red Dead Redemption 2 by way of the Xbox Game Pass mobile app.
A note for GTA 5 players
In its announcement, Microsoft also included a little heads-up for folks who are enjoying Grand Theft Auto 5 on Xbox Game Pass for Console.
To make way for the coming of Red Dead Redemption 2 next month, GTA 5 will only be available until May 7. So for GTA 5 players out there, make those final two weeks count.
As for those who want to continue playing GTA 5 anyway, they can actually take full advantage of their membership discount in order to purchase the game. They can enjoy discounts of as much as 20% if they act now.
Also, they might want to get all the Shark Cards they can find while they still can.
Speaking of GTA fans, they might be delighted to know that Rockstar Games is already working on GTA 6. But with the COVID-19 pandemic basically putting almost everything on hold, gamers might have to wait a little longer for the highly anticipated installment release.
For gamers who dig the fancy world-building of Red Dead Redemption 2, they can also check out other game worlds that Micky News highly recommends, that is, if they haven’t already.
