The Redmi K30i is slated to become the most inexpensive 5G-enabled smartphone in the Android world. Its first render should now tell you why.
By now, the cat is already out of the bag that Redmi is working on a new K30 series variant. Dubbed as the Redmi K30i, the forthcoming phone is scheduled to launch with a few headline-grabbing features of its own. One of which is its moniker, “the cheapest 5G-powered smartphone in the world.”
A toned-down Redmi K30
The Redmi K30i’s newly-leaked render is a revelation as to why the upcoming phone is receiving such a label. The handset’s first render, which shows its front and rear design, revealed that it would launch with a single punch-hole on its display. Note that its host variant, the Redmi K30 5G, which debuted in December 2019, features a dual punch-hole screen.
Around its back, the render of the Redmi K30i also shows that while the phone will arrive with a familiar circular camera module on its rear, the device is equipped with a triple-camera system instead. Additionally, the phone’s back also sports an LED flash.
Meanwhile, the accompanying text that is imprinted inside the circular ring shows that the Redmi K30i will launch with a 48MP primary lens. In contrast, the vanilla Redmi K30 has launched with a 64MP Sony IMX686 lens, which front-lines a quadruple-camera setup.
With a rumored price tag of CNY 1,799, it is no longer rocket science why the Redmi K30i get associated with this stripped-down render.
The Redmi K30i appears to have hit it out of the park with its purported features on its leaked render. And with its speculated pricing, the phone is shaping up to be quite a powerhouse in the mid-range class.
