Refund Expedition’s Debut Track Ranks High On Realtime Charts

Refund Expedition has finally dropped its debut track, which featured its members’ four unique voices. Lee Hyori, Jessi, Uhm Jung Hwa, and Hwasa is making a splash!

On Saturday (10/10) at 6 P.M. KST, the project girl group Refund Expedition has officially debuted with its first single, Don’t Touch Me. The catchy upbeat song was made by producer Rado, who is a member of the excellent producer team Black Eyed Pilseung.

The dream girl group, Refund Expedition, is MBC’s How Do You Play?’s, project group.

The group consisting of four powerful and unique voices was formed after Lee Hyori talked about her ideal group members.

Consisting the group are Lee Hyori (Chun Ok), MAMAMOO’s Hwasa (Sil Bi), Uhm Jung Hwa (Man Ok), and Jessi (Eun Bi). In the persona of Jimmy Yoo, Yoo Jae Suk is the group’s general producer.

An instant hit

After the track Don’t Touch Me was released as a digital single on October 10, in just one day, the song has reached No. 1 on the real-time charts of Bugs and Genie on October 11 at 12:30 A.M. KST.

The song also ranked No. 7 on Flo’s real-time chart and Melon’s 24Hits chart, No. 9.

Debut income for donation

The producers of MBC’s How Do You Play? ahead of its track released, announced that Refund Expedition’s first song of their upcoming promotions, Don’t Touch Me, will be released on October 10, 6 P.M. The proceeds of the digital single will all be donated.

The song Don’t Touch Me is about encouraging people to embrace their unique traits and individualities. The song’s inspiring message says that there is nothing wrong with being different.

The October 10 episode of MBC’s “How Do You Play?,” which aired on October 10, featured the Refund Expedition’s recording session of their debut song.

As reported by Nielsen Korea, the show recorded the best record of the timeslot as it garnered 8.9% and 11.2% viewership.
