On November 26, MBC announced the vast news for the fans of the project group Refund Sisters. The announcement says that the group from How Do You Play? is gearing for a comeback to attend two year-end ceremonies.
With that said, the network officially announced that the project group Refund Sisters would appear on both the 2020 MBC Entertainment Awards and the 2020 MBC Gayo Daejejun.
The 2020 MBC Entertainment Awards will be held on December 29, while the 2020 MBC Gayo Daejejun will be taking place two days later, December 31. The MBC Gayo Daejejun is the annual year-end music festival of the network.
Refund Sisters is the chart-topping girl group from the show How Do You Play?, consisting of members Lee Hyori, Uhm Jung Hwa, Jessi, and MAMAMOO’s Hwasa.
The group shook the world with its variety program showcase and music releases for the past few months.
Refund Sisters boosted the viewership and rating of How Do You Play? The first time the group appeared on the program catapulted the show’s ratings to an all-time high.
Moreover, the debut track of the girl group Don’t Touch Me scored a perfect all-kill and topped various Korean music charts in less than a year of its debut.
The project girl group ranked No. 2 after the final episode of MBC’s How Do You Play? last November 14. The Good Data Corporation compiled the votes from November 8 to 15, and Hyeri takes the top spot.
On the same day, Hyeri said goodbye to tvN’s Amazing Saturday and made her final appearance on the show.
