Fans asked for it, and Capcom finally listened. The upcoming final demo for Resident Evil 8 will have an extended playtime of a week!

On its official Twitter account, Capcom revealed that players would be able to try out the final Resident Evil 8 demo for a week.

The highly-anticipated title is just days away from its big release.

‘Resident Evil 8’ final demo to be available for more time

The last demo is scheduled to arrive this weekend. And this new information from the developer will surely bring a broad smile to PC players’ faces.

The previous two Resident Evil 8 demos, on Castle and Village, were available for a limited time of just eight hours. Also, they were only PlayStation-exclusive.

Before the latest announcement, the fans expected the final demo to have a shelf life of only 24 hours. But after major feedback, Capcom decided to stretch it into a full week.

The news over the ultimate, last demo came out earlier this month.

It will combine the Village and Castle quests into a 60-minute duration.

Final Resident Evil 8 demo will run from May first at 5 PM until May ninth at 5 PM PDT in North America. Also, it will be available from May second at 1 AM until May tenth at 1 AM BST in the UK.

So far, many enthusiasts who have tried the demos have suggested that the title is heavily inspired by Resident Evil 4 and 7.

New games of 2021

Meanwhile, this year also boasts of many other heavyweights that are just days and months away from their arrival.

When it comes to the most-awaited potential blockbusters, then they are Horizon Forbidden West and Far Cry 6.

A new Call of Duty entry, God of War: Ragnarok, STALKER 2, and Halo Infinite are also highly anticipated.

However, that’s not it!

The line-up extends further with Returnal, Deathloop, Dying Light 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Stray.

Biomutant, New World, Humankind, GhostWire: Tokyo, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and Psychonauts 2 are other crucial launches.

Several recently announced games making their debuts soon are The Day Before, Glitchpunk, and Etched Memories. The latter will be an interesting one because it will feature a Cat, named Biscuit as the primary protagonist.

Coming back to Resident Evil 8, again, then it will release for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia.

What do you think about all the major titles arriving later this year? Are you excited and hyped for them?
