‘Resident Evil Village’ opens to rave reviews!

Capcom must be feeling great right now as its latest title, Resident Evil Village, has opened to highly positive and rave reviews already.

The newest entry in the iconic horror series, Resident Evil Village, has gained impressive critical reception.

‘Resident Evil Village’ is among the bests in the series!

Capcom finally lifted the review embargo for the immensely awaited game of the year.

And the fans got what they were hoping for when it comes to feedback from the top critics.

Resident Evil Village has been regarded as the most fantastic title in the franchise while also bringing a mix of old installments.

RE8 continues the story of Ethan Winters from 2017’s Resident Evil 7. However, this time there’s a village with a haunting castle in it.

The setting will also remind many of Resident Evil 4.

Now coming onto the central part for which you all decided to read this article.

Resident Evil Village debuted with a staggering Metascore of 84 on renowned portal MetaCritic. It’s based on 70 critics’ reviews so far at the time of writing.

Those who have played it have praised the graphics quality and overall gameplay experience.

Horror side blended with heavy violence and gunshots are also lauded.

Other platforms like IGN, GameInformer, and Siliconera gave it brilliant scores of 8/10, 9.25/10, and 7/10, respectively.

On the other hand, VentureBeat and PushSquare called it “horror stunner” and praised the ray-tracing aspect as well. They gave it a score of 4/5 and 9/10, respectively.

It will be interesting to see how mainstream players react to the latest entry when they grab their copies.

Upcoming video games of 2021

Meanwhile, die-hard players are waiting for other multiple heavyweights as well, coming out this year.

Some of the most-awaited early potential blockbusters are Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Halo Infinite.

Far Cry 6, God of War: Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, a new Call of Duty installment, and STALKER 2 are highly anticipated.

But that’s not it!

The line-up extends further with the likes of Death loop, Dying Light 2, Stray, Psychonauts 2, and GhostWire: Tokyo.

Humankind, New World, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, No More Heroes 3, Cyber Shadow, and Shadow Warrior 3 are other crucial launches.

Several recently announced projects making their debuts soon are The Day Before, Glitchpunk, and Etched Memories.

Once again, returning to Resident Evil Village, it’s releasing for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia.
