Resident Evil Village has once again claimed its number one position in the UK boxed sales chart after several weeks of its release.
Capcom’s blockbuster entry in the iconic horror franchise, Resident Evil Village, received reviews upon its big launch earlier this month.
‘Resident Evil Village’ is No.1 again!
Despite witnessing a slight decline in sales, the newest installment has managed to boost the UK.
Resident Evil Village emerged as the best-selling game on the physical sales chart for the week ending May 23rd.
It was No.1 upon its release and lost the Mass Effect Legendary Edition rank when the latter came out.
Speaking of the remastered version of BioWare’s iconic trilogy, it is now sitting in third place. Miitopia for Nintendo Switch is on the second spot.
As per Gamesindustry.biz, Resident Evil 8 sold the best on PlayStation 4 since its opening week.
Its PS4 versions accounted for 44 percent of overall sales, and the PS5 variants contributed to 29 percent.
Another interesting thing to note is that these numbers only reflect the physical copies. Digital downloads are not counted in them.
Here are the Top 10 best-selling games, in the UK, for the week ending May 23rd:
- Resident Evil Village
- Miitopia
- Mass Effect: Legendary Edition
- Spider-Man: Miles Morales
