Titanfall studio Respawn Entertainment reiterated that they’re solving the game’s hacker problem, but admits they only have “one or two” people working on it.
So far, Titanfall has stayed unplayable due to hackers, so much that players started hacking Apex Legends to get attention. Respawn Entertainment notes that the work never stopped on removing the hackers.
Even then, it seems they are lacking the right amount of people working on it. They admit that they only have “one or two” staff handling the game.
Titanfall unplayable due to hackers
Titanfall has a ton of security vulnerabilities in its servers. So many players are bombing the game with DDoS attacks that it’s unplayable. This pushed the community to make noise to get the support they need.

The call for help even extended towards hacking Apex Legends during Independence Day weekends. Now, one of its community managers is trying to reassure players that work is happening.
In one of his morning livestreams, community coordinator Jason Garza answered some questions. Among those questions was a request to resolve the issue. The player even went so far to say “our community is at our wits end and feel abandoned”.
“You’re not abandoned,” said Garza. “It’s a game of whack-a-mole with this.” He notes that they’re trying not to repeat what’s already been said before. “You can only hear that so many times before it becomes useless,” he further said.
Respawn busy with Apex
Respawn Entertainment is very busy with their work on Apex Legends. While some people are wondering why players stay with such an old game, the community is still valuable. Whether the game is worth $5 or $20, an active game deserves support.

According to Garza, the work they do for Titanfall is different. Hackers are also pushing the devs to the limit.
“Because now it’s a different type of game with these people who DDOS and stuff like that, and blacklist and things like that, so we can’t telegraph our moves, we can’t say what we’re doing. All I can say is we’re working on it,” said Garza.
Even then, Garza mentions that they only have around two people working on security. “The thing is we only have like one or two people on it because everybody else is on Apex,” he added.
His answer now tells players an important detail – that Respawn Entertainment can only spare so many people. How the community takes this answer is up to anyone’s guess, but it’s unlikely that players will be happy about it.
