Players of Apex Legends are always ecstatic whenever a new collection event launches. The wait for the next one is over as the developers just showed off the spooky Fight or Fright collection event for the battle royale.
Respawn Entertainment is up to something great for Apex Legends once again. This time around, the developers are bracing players for the upcoming Fight or Fright event for the Halloween festivities. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming event so far.
The Fight or Fright event for the game arrives this Nov. 22. We’ve yet to know just how long the event will be. Judging from previous events for the game, it’s likely that this one will be lasting for around two weeks. As such, players should try to collect as much of the skins as possible.
The most exciting part of the event is the limited time mode called Shadow Royale. In this new Apex Legends mode, players will be fighting in King’s Canyon at night.
It’s the basic game mode for the game with a few twists. For starters, once players fall in battle, they’ll be turned into a revenant. In this form, players can move faster, climb higher, and hit harder with melee attacks. On the downside, they won’t be able to equip items.
A team will be eliminated only if all human players on the team are all dead. Basically, revenants can protect their allies even after death.
As usual, Respawn Entertainment is introducing some new skins with the event. However, the developers are adding what they call as Resurrected skins this time around.
Resurrected skins are basically the skins from last year’s Fight or Fright event. However, there will be some color adjustments. There will be skins for Gibraltar, Caustic, Bloodhound, and Wraith.
There will be some cosmetic items that players can unlock by completing certain goals. However, most of the skins can only be acquired by opening loot boxes related to the event, and these can only be purchased.
Players only have a few days to enjoy the Apex Legends Fight or Fright event, so they should jump into the game fast. The new skins will be up for a limited time as well, so it’s a must that players try to get as much as they can. This spooky event is sure to draw in more players to the game.
