Rihanna has not released a new album since 2016.
Over the years, netizens have continued to praise Rihanna for her achievements. With her latest success on her skincare line, Fenty Skin, the number of her followers has further increased.
While she remains to be active on social media, her latest move on Instagram caught the attention of many. Reports said that she “poked fun” and “trolled” a young influencer from TikTok after the latter’s video went viral.
Rihanna has a doppelgänger
To the surprise of many, Rihanna has a doppelgänger. Priscila Beatrice is reportedly quite popular on TikTok, considering that her resemblance to the “Work” singer is “uncanny.” Some even said that her “look-alike” looks more like the Fenty mogul than the celebrity herself.
Last week, the young influencer went viral after posting a video of herself dancing to Dej Loaf’s “Back Up,” according to Insider. In it, she dances with her back, in front of RiRi’s 2019 photo. After a while, she turns around to reveal her face and to show the uncanny resemblance between her and the artist.

She “trolled” her on Instagram
Following the video’s virality, The Shade Room from Instagram re-posted Priscila Beatrice’s short TikTok clip. The account captioned the post with what appears to be a rhetorical question, asking whether netizens could see the resemblance between her and Rihanna.
The user’s followers reportedly agreed and deemed her a real doppelgänger of the “Needed Me” songstress. Later on, the celebrity herself also chimed in on the comment section.
RiRi poked fun at the young influencer and commented to the post, asking about her album. She wrote, “where the album sis?” with the hashtag, “R9.”
Reports noted that the singer “referenced” the repeated inquiries about her upcoming album, R9. She reportedly receives similar comments every day from her “eager fans.”
R9 is coming soon
Rihanna released her last album, Anti, about four years ago, as per Metro. This reportedly explains why her fans have continued to ask her about her new and upcoming music.
While the details have remained scarce, RiRi released an update about R9 earlier in July. She reportedly shared that the fans could expect the album much sooner. However, the celebrity confirmed, as well, that it is still a “work-in-progress.”
But, despite this, Rihanna promised her fans that the wait would be worth it. She also said that, amid all her projects, music remains to be her “baby.”
