Ryan Seacrest is not going blind due to botox amid claims.
Ryan Seacrest is very visible because he appears on several shows, and one outlet claims that he takes more than he can manage, which sparked health concerns.
However, one should take the report with a grain of salt because there is no concrete evidence supporting the claim.
Ryan Seacrest allegedly going blind
Two months ago, National Enquirer published a report claiming that Ryan Seacrest was going blind due to botox injections. The outlet concocted that the American Idol host’s fans were already worried about his health.
The outlet added that Seacrest was going blind not due to stroke but after getting botox injections during the lockdown. It quoted a source claiming to know Seacrest for its report.
“It could well have been a reaction to a Botox injection administered by himself or someone else at his home as most Hollywood cosmetic surgeons are still closed,” the dubious source said.
Closer Weekly also claimed that Seacrest was moving to Los Angeles. He allegedly felt exhausted and would feel healthier on the West Coast after his health scare in mid-May.
Rumors debunked
Gossip Cop debunked the report by talking to a credible source who denied National Enquirer’s report. The rumor-debunking site’s source also called the tabloid’s story incorrect and crazy.
It’s also not true that Ryan Seacrest is moving to L.A. for good.
“There is no truth to this rumor. He will go back to New York when the show decides it’s safe to start up production again at their set,” a source told Page Six.
As someone who has watched American Idol for just about the last 15-20 years, watching Ryan Seacrest in this shape really hurt my heart. I’m not sure what he is going through, but I sure hope he gets well soon.

Is @RyanSeacrest okay? Not making light of this. He went from normal to his speech being off and his eye shutting halfway. #ryanseacrest #AmericanIdol pic.twitter.com/9LCKTLjxpe

Ryan sparked a health scare
Ryan Seacrest sparked a health scare during the American Idol finale.
Many noticed that his eye suddenly appeared droopy, and his speech was slightly slurred. After the incident, Seacrest also skipped Live with Kelly and Ryan, which made his fans more worried. However, the celebrity’s rep denied the stroke rumors.
“Ryan did not have any kind of stroke last night,” the rep tells People in an exclusive statement.
“Like many people right now, Ryan is adjusting to the new normal and finding work-home balance, with the added stress of having to put on live shows from home.”
Seacrest’s rep also stressed that he had been juggling three to four on-air jobs, including at the time, and needed to rest. So, he decided to not show up at his show with Kelly Ripa. However, it was a “well-deserved day off.”
