Samsung Galaxy A21s with Exynos 850 chip and rear quad cams launches in India

The Samsung Galaxy A21 is just about one of the most modern-looking smartphones in the budget-friendly, mid-range segment.

The Indian market has just received the Galaxy A21s, one of Samsung’s latest entries in the budget-friendly mid-range segment.

Two versions

The Samsung Galaxy A21s has arrived in two versions, relative to its RAM and ROM configurations. There is the base 4GB/64GB model, which is priced at INR 16,499, while the top-tier 6GB/128GB edition retails for INR 18,499.

Since June 17, the Samsung Galaxy A21 has already gone on sale through Samsung India’s online shop, alongside other options such as Samsung Opera House, offline retail stores, and online retailer sites, front-lined by Flipkart. The phone launches in three color variants – Black, White, and Blue.

Samsung Galaxy A21s Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A21s features a massive 6.5-inch Infinity-O PLS TFT display, with a 720 x 1,600 pixels resolution. Samsung also equips the phone with what it calls a holographic 3D Glastic polycarbonate body, right with a glossy finish.

Powering the Samsung Galaxy A21s is Samsung’s newest homegrown chipset, the Exynos 850. The handset is also accompanied by the aforementioned set of RAM and ROM options.

Meanwhile, the handset is listed with a massive 5,000mAh battery, which charges over a USB Type-C port. In addition, the phone supports 15W of fast wired charging.

In the optics department, the Galaxy A21s boasts a quadruple-camera setup on its rear. The system is headlined by a 48MP wide camera, coupled with an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP macro module, and a 2MP depth lens. The phone’s display cutout, on the other hand, houses a 13MP front-facing snapper.

The latest mid-range smartphone from Samsung also sports a slew of other key features. These include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor which carries support for facial recognition, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port, among others.

The French has it too

Apart from India, Samsung has also brought the Galaxy A21s to France, alongside the Galaxy A51 5G. The company is yet to reveal the price in the region just yet, plus its availability. The Galaxy A51 5G, however, is scheduled to go on sale at the end of June.

French customers who will purchase the Galaxy A21s is confirmed to receive a free, two-month YouTube Premium subscription.
