The Samsung Galaxy M41 is expected to hit the market soon, and the phone is believed to have a massive 6800mAh battery pack.
Recent reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy M41 will have a 6800mAh battery pack. This is the first smartphone from the South Korean tech giant to pack that much power. A handful of information has recently leaked, suggesting this possibility.
One of the first leaks came in the form of certification. Some tech specs of the smartphone were posted on the 3C certification website. The leak contains a few interesting information and noted that Ningde Amperex Technology supplies the battery.
A step in the right direction
The Samsung Galaxy M41 is not exactly a flagship model. Nevertheless, the phone’s massive battery pack could be a viable selling point for the phone. One of the many reasons people choose a particular smartphone model is their battery capacity.
This is a revolutionary new battery technology from Ningde Amperex. It appears that the company was able to cram huge power into a relatively the same form factor. Despite the huge capacity, the phone’s thickness is still quite normal for its specs.

Most smartphones with huge power capacity tend to be a little bit thicker. Such a design is to compensate for the bigger battery pack. It appears that such is not the case for the Samsung Galaxy M41.
Complementing the massive battery pack is a new 15W fast charging technology from Samsung. The phone is expected to use the USB Type-C port for this function.
Powerful specs
Another interesting note for the upcoming smartphone is its specs. Several leaks have pointed out what to expect about the hardware of the phone.
One of the leaks pointed out that the phone will have a 64-megapixel camera with an Exynos 9630 processor. This is a huge upgrade in terms of hardware, and Samsung is bringing quite a number of it.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy M41 is expected to have a bigger 6.4-inch AMOLED display. The display is expected to support FHD+ resolution. One of the leaks hinted that the phone would have Widevine L1 certification for streaming platforms like Netflix.
As for its chipset, the Samsung Galaxy M41 will use a new Exynos 9611 chipset clocked at 2.3GHz. The chipset uses the 10nm processor and has a Mali G72 MP3 GPU to handle the graphical workload. The phone will run on Android 9 Pie right out of the box.
