The Galaxy M51 is also tipped to be the first Samsung smartphone to feature a non-Samsung OLED panel.

The long-rumored Galaxy M51 has finally emerged from the grapevine again. This time around, its surfacing could indicate that the release could be anytime soon.

Support for 25W fast charging confirmed

The Galaxy M51 has just received an FCC certification, revealing a key feature down the line. Its listing confirmed that the device would be launching with support for 25W fast wired charging. This is similar to the recently-minted Galaxy M31s.

The certification also revealed that the handset would feature LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, alongside Bluetooth with LE, NFC, and a 3.86V battery. Meanwhile, a 25W fast charger and wired earphones are also slated to be bundled with the phone.

On the other hand, the Galaxy M51’s Settings’ menu has also appeared in the documents, confirming a dual-SIM card slot.

The latest FCC certification of the device briefly follows its listings from Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance.

The first Galaxy phone to sport a non-Samsung OLED panel

The Galaxy M51 has also been speculated previously to arrive with China Star Optoelectronics Technology (CSOT’s) 6.5-inch OLED screen. If this pans out, the phone might be Samsung’s first non-Samsung OLED display device.

Additionally, the Galaxy M51 could be offered at an even more attractive price. Note that the Galaxy M series of smartphones is already known for its absolute bang-for-your-buck strategies, ones that are similar to that of the Redmis and Realmes of the world.

Snapdragon 730 chip and 7,000mAh battery

Other claims point that the Galaxy M51 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is also likely to launch with the latest One UI based on Android 10.

The Galaxy M51 is also pegged to feature a quadruple-camera setup on its rear panel. This is set to be front-lined by a massive 64-megapixel, along with a 12MP ultrawide lens. The other two sensors could very well feature macro and depth-sensing capabilities.

Perhaps the most attractive of the phone when it finally launches is its enormous 7,000mAh battery, one that will undoubtedly grab some headlines.

Samsung hasn’t let out a word yet regarding the Galaxy M51’s official release date. But with its FCC certification now in the fold, we can’t imagine the company delaying its announcement.
