The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G offers all of the usual flagship features sought for in a phone, even 5G and 120Hz screen refresh rate.
Samsung added one more phone to the S20 lineup before it capped off a strong 2020. Despite the pandemic, the Korean company remained resilient and pushed through with the releases of their new flagship phones.
In just two months, Samsung was not only able to release the Galaxy Note 20 lineup but was also able to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy S20 FE.
All these phones form part of the premium flagship category of Samsung. However, it is now the Galaxy S20 FE that is the new entry point to the premium market.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has 5G and 120Hz screen refresh rate
In 2021, more and more phones will be 5G capable, and Samsung likes to stay ahead of the curve. As such, it made the Galaxy S20 FE 5G ready. It supports both mmWave 5G and Sub 6gHz bands. Despite being a cheaper flagship phone, the Galaxy S20 FE really doesn’t cut corners in features.
Not only does it offer fast-speed connections, but it also has a premium quality screen. The screen is a 6.5-inch full-screen display with an even smaller hole-punch camera. The widescreen also offers a 120Hz screen refresh rate, which is a feature normally reserved for the ultra-premium phones.
Samsung also ensured that users could enjoy an all-day experience with this buttery smooth screen. It packed a 4,500 mAh battery that can support the screen refreshes on the phone.
Ultra speed with flagship processors
Samsung made sure not to give room for doubts for the Galaxy S20 FE. As such, it also packed the flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset for a real flagship experience. The Galaxy S20 FE has 6GB of RAM with only 128GB of internal storage.
The Korean company also made sure to highlight the new colors on the flagship phone. During the presentation, it allowed the viewers to go into the thinking process behind the color choices. It said that many users liked the hazed feature of the Mystic Bronze on the Galaxy Note 20.
As a result, the company tried to innovate on the colors even more. It chose six of the most sought after color and applied a thin layer of haze above. The result is a premium finish that is soft to the touch but still offers a handy grip.
The Galaxy S20 FE preorders start today and end on October 1. Those who will join the preorders can get a $US70 gift certificate that can be used to buy Samsung accessories.
