The latest leaked video not only shows the Galaxy S20 FE design, but it also talks about various technical details of it, aka its specifications.
Before its official launch on Sept. 23, the Galaxy S20 FE hands-on video leaked. The footage comes from Jimmy Is Promo YouTube website.
The very same source shared some hands-on images of the device last week. Today’s new video, which has a duration of about 6 minutes, fills in the gaps.
Galaxy S20 FE up close with the new leak
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE leaked hands-on video features a deep blue colorway for the phone running software version One UI 2.5. We also see already known hardware and software features.
As we dig into the video, we can see a plastic back panel with a camera array that looks exactly like the Galaxy S20. Earlier leaks and the latest hands-on video confirm that the budget-type Samsung smartphone will house a 12MP + 12MP + 8MP sensor setup.
As spotted by Android Authority, you get a SIM card tray slot at the top of the Fan Edition. At the bottom of the Galaxy S20 FE is a USB-C port alongside a speaker grille. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack here, nor was it expected.
In terms of size, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will sit somewhere between the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20 Ultra. An ideal size, indeed!
Unlike the Infinity display on the current Galaxy S20 phone that spills over to the sides, the Fan Edition variant has a flat-screen with visibly thicker bezels. It still gets a 120Hz refresh rate, just like the existing flagship with a Full HD+ resolution.
Other specs and features from the leak
We know almost everything about the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, thanks to numerous leaks that provide specs and features of the phone. The hands-on video further confirms other features. Although it’s just six minutes long, it shows that the device will have 30X digital zoom, stereo sound with Dolby Atmos support, and 4,500mAh battery.
In terms of accessories, the clip also hinted that the Fan Edition would come with wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. It will boast a Snapdragon 865, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage.
However, you won’t be getting an S Pen when you purchase the phone. Anyway, you might not be looking at this phone at all if you’re into styluses.
As mentioned earlier, this smartphone will become official on Sept. 23. Samsung only has to confirm everything we know already, as pretty much everything leaked.
