Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S7 is challenging itself to fill in the gap between tablet and laptop —not just with design but also its features.
Since the global health crisis sends us home and we’re still not amenable to working in our desk office, Samsung has this in mind for bridging those in need of working from home with your devices.
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series was unveiled in an unpacked event yesterday. It is the latest attempt Samsung has made, according to CNET, on bridging the gap between the use of laptops and tablets.
Sure, it had some features that made the tablet work like a laptop. With its kickstand, touchpad, and keyboard, you can transform the tablet into a working laptop like this.

The DeX Features
With its design and style, this device is suited to our current lifestyle – working from home. DeX, Samsung’s platform that makes our use of the device feel like a PC is also included in this latest gadget dropped by the company.
Another unique feature of DeX in this device is that aside from it makes your view on tablet a desktop view, it also works on casting it to a smart TV. This new version will also be featured in the Note 20 as announced last Wednesday.
The DeX experience comes with multiple openings of applications, resizing these into multiple windows, and you can also minimize them to a taskbar. The vibes DeX is sending us is the vibe of using it as a laptop, making it a working device for those who are working from their homes.
These devices will be available this fall with a price tag of $649 and $849 for Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, respectively.
