The revealed 12.4-inch screen of the Galaxy Tab S7+ is the biggest we’ve seen so far in its class.
Renders of the now-confirmed Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ emerged online recently, and by its looks, we probably see the most massive the lineup is about to offer.
The renders show that the device could launch with a huge 12.4-inch screen. Such a screen size would easily make the upcoming Plus edition larger compared to most Android tablets, even when it gets seated beside some of the iPads of this generation.
Larger yet slimmer
In terms of dimensions, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ is expected to arrive with a length of 285mm and a width of 185mm. Now, although the tablet is larger than its sibling, it is slimmer compared to it, with only a thickness of 5.7mm, with 6.9mm when you include the camera bump.
On its rear, the tablet is also shown to be toting around a dual-camera setup, with the S-Pen stylus groove etched below. The vertically-placed Samsung logo can be seen as well.
On the right side, the Galaxy Tab S7+, the device’s power button, volume rocker, and MicroSD/SIM card slot can all be seen. On its left, there are the pins in which a keyboard accessory can be attached. Meanwhile, the USB-C port is shown right at the bottom of the tablet.
Like the regular Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, the Galaxy S7+ is also tipped not to come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
A 120Hz refresh rate on a tablet
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ is also bringing bigger things in the display department. It is headed to feature the same refresh rate rumored to come with the regular Galaxy Tab S7 – a 120Hz refresh rate.
As with most sizeable tablets, the Galaxy Tab S7+ is also pegged to sport an even bigger battery – right at 9,800mAh capacity.
In the software front, the Galaxy Tab S7+ is also rumored to debut with the version 2.5 of Samsung’s proprietary One UI. This is the same UI that launched with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series.
Availability
There is no word yet as to when Samsung is releasing its new flagship tablets. Speculations are rife, however, that the Korean tech giant could launch a new smartwatch and wireless earbuds in July, while the two premium tablets would be debuting, alongside the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Fold 2, in August.
Whichever the case is, Samsung fans are definitely in for a huge treat, may they be gunning for a foldable or a large-sized tablet.
