A handful of leaked Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 appears to hint that the smartwatch’s rotating bezel feature will return.
The rotating bezel feature is first introduced on the original Samsung Galaxy Watch. The leaked photos appear to come from an Indonesian telecommunications certification board. Reports claim that the watch is being tested there ahead of its official launch.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 specs
The leak shares two possible Galaxy Watch 3 models. These models bear the codename SM-R850 and SM-R840. This coincides with previous rumors claiming that Samsung is working to release two smartwatch models based on case sizes.
One model is expected to measure 41mm, while the other one will measure 44mm. This suggests that the Galaxy Watch 3 will have a 1.4-inch and 1.2-inch displays. The Apple Watch, Samsung’s biggest rival, also comes in those same sizes.
Based on the pictures, the Galaxy Watch 3 has its bezels raised and separated from the glass screen. This led many in the tech community to believe that it can rotate to navigate that watch’s interface.

Rumors claim that Samsung is working to release an LTE and Wi-Fi model of the Galaxy Watch 3. The smartwatch is expected to come equipped with 1GB of memory and 8GB of storage space. As for the battery, one model has a 247mAh pack while the other one has a 340mAh pack.
Samsung’s upcoming smartwatch is expected to be waterproof, a common feature among smartwatches. As for its software, the smartwatch will run on Samsung’s own Tizen OS 5.5 right out of the box.
