Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G promo video leaked online

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G promotional video has been leaked on Twitter, and it doesn’t look very different from its previous version.

5G will define the future of computing across the tech world. As a result, more and more countries are signing up to set up their 5G network to provide even faster information transfers. As governments ramp up their 5G activities, smartphone companies are also keeping up.

Samsung was the first company to bring 5G to smartphones. As such, They intend to bring the feature to all their future phones. The followers of the company will be pleased as the majority of the Unpacked 2020 phones will be 5G capable too. They will relaunch the Galaxy Z Flip just to make it 5G ready.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G

A video of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G surfaced online, care of a Tweet by Evan Blass over the weekend. It was a full promotional feature of the phone never before seen. In the video, the Samsung flip phone doesn’t look that much different from its previous version, and the only new thing about it was the colorway.

Last week, Samsung Russia accidentally uploaded what looked like a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 official photo. It featured the newest colorway, which was ‘Mystic Bronze.’ It seems like the same color option will also be available for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G.

Max Weinbach also reports that the new version of the Galaxy Z flip is 0.5mm thicker. It is also just 0.1mm taller than the previous model. Additionally, it will sport the stronger Snapdragon 865+, which makes the new version 5G capable.

Unpacked 2020 on August

Samsung will hold the first-ever online Unpacked event on August 5. The company confirmed this via their NewsRoom. Samsung is expected to launch five new phones in the event. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is one of them.

The other models will be Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Note 20+, Note 20 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Fold 2. All these phones will be the company’s latest and greatest premium flagship phones. As such, they also come at a hefty premium price. Price increases are expected among these phones.

No more in-box chargers?

Earlier last week, Apple was rumored that it would drop in-box chargers in their next iPhone devices. Unfortunately, the same rumor popped up for Samsung. The Korean company was also rumored that it would not ship any chargers in some phone models in the future.

The rationale for such a decision hasn’t been clarified yet. Nonetheless, it is expected that the news will not be received well by users.
