Samsung previously announced that its Galaxy Unpacked 2020 would be online-only. The event will stream on Samsung’s website at 10 a.m. ET on Aug. 5.
In less than a week, Samsung will host this year’s Unpacked event online. Undoubtedly, the giant company will launch the Galaxy Note 20, and Galaxy Z Fold 2 in this event.
Samsung’s Unpacked event takes place virtually on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. ET. The company is said to be streaming the event live from South Korea.
Expectations for Galaxy Note 20
The Galaxy Note 20 series is likely to come with an S Pen, which will also come with the same color variants. The smartphones are expected to be powered by either the Snapdragon 865 or the Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra might offer up to 12 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. At the same time, the entire series is expected to come with 5G and a 120Hz refresh rate display.
According to an earlier report, the Note 20 Ultra will become the first 5G smartphone to provide optimization for game usage via online streaming. It is also expected to have a 108 MP primary camera, aided by a 12 MP ultrawide camera, and a 12 MP periscope lens that can zoom in up to 50 times.
Expectations on Galaxy Fold 2
The Galaxy Fold 2 might offer a larger cover display than the screen of the original Samsung Galaxy Fold. According to leaks, the size of the foldable display of the second generation phone may be increased to 7.7-inch compared to Galaxy Fold’s 7.3-inches.
Reports also stated that the device is likely to feature an Infinity-O panel with a punch hole for the selfie camera. The Fold 2 is expected to come in two Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze options. The triple rear camera setup might comprise 12 MP + 64 MP + 12 MP sensors, while the inner selfie camera is said to be 10 MP.
The smartphone is also expected to have a storage capacity of 512 GB. It will draw power from a 4,356 mAh battery that will support 15W wireless charging.
Expectations on Galaxy Watch 3
Aside from smartphones, Samsung is also set to launch a lineup of accessories, which includes the Galaxy Watch 3. Reports claim it will come in 4 different versions ―two in a 41 mm size and the other two in a 45 mm scale.
The display of Watch 3 is likely to be protected by Gorilla Glass XD. The smartwatch is also expected to have 5ATM water-resistance.

As reported by CNET, Samsung will host a live stream of the event on its website. You can watch the live coverage of the Samsung Unpacked event starting at 9:30 a.m. ET/6:30 a.m. PT – half an hour before the actual keynote to secure a slot.
