Sasuke Uchiha’s famous attacks are back in the newest chapter of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations!
Naruto and Sasuke are already pushing to their limits with the fight against Isshiki Otsutsuki. The two are seen wholly exhausted in the newest chapter of the series in their attempt to put a stop to the surprising new threat and to save Boruto.
The last chapter’s cliffhanger saw Momoshiki Otsutsuki awaken in Boruto’s body and dealing a massive injury to Sasuke’s eye. That cliffhanger was somehow addressed well in the newest chapter.
Sasuke fulfilling his promise to Boruto
The series’s Chapter 54 immediately picks up after Momoshiki took over Boruto’s body and stabbed Sasuke in the eye.
With the promise he made to Boruto in a previous chapter, Sasuke’s forced to make good to fulfill it.
Sasuke then brings back one of his most potent techniques knowing that he has to do everything in his power to put a stop to Momoshiki—the Amaterasu.
Sasuke takes a quick glimpse of the situation with Momoshiki Otsutsuki taking over Boruto’s body. He realizes that Momoshiki’s healing ability has kicked in, thus hurting the foe even tougher.
Sasuke hits the possessed Boruto with everything he can as he is still wary of Momoshiki’s abilities. However, he stopped just a bit when Momoshiki asks if Sasuke’s willing to hurt his student.
Amaterasu is back!
Sasuke then brings back Amaterasu thinking back to the vow he made to Boruto before the battle to put a stop to him if he transforms. He made a move at the risk of damage to his one good eye.
However, to absorb the damage of the flame, Momoshiki used a Shadow Clone.
Simultaneously, he realizes that Momoshiki is not using his chakra absorbing abilities to keep from awakening Boruto from within his weakened state. Sasuke has unlocked the key to bringing Boruto back from the brink.
Sasuke’s Amaterasu use is damaging to Boruto’s body, but it’s the only way that Sasuke saw to save them all.
