Video game adaptation, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game, is back once again. This time, it is getting a physical release and on multiple platforms to boot.
Originally released to be a digital title for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Scott Pilgrim saw a successful release back in 2010. But for reasons unknown, even to this day, the game was pulled out from both platforms in 2014.
Gamers who missed out on the chance of owning the game prior to the delisting have been left wanting for years. The yearning was even made worse with Ubisoft not sending out a word about whether the game would make a comeback to console.
It’s Indeed Coming Back
After countless pleas for the beloved title’s return, Ubisoft has finally heeded the call. Subsequently, re-releasing the beat-‘em-up not just to Sony and Microsoft platforms, but to other platforms as well. More specifically, on the Nintendo Switch and PC.
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game is not just coming back in its original form (digital), it’s also getting a physical release. In partnership with Limited Run Games (LMR), the returning title will be launched comprehensively (DLC-wise) as a “Complete Edition.”
Consumer Selections
The surprise does not just end there, however. In light of the game getting a physical launch, LMR is bringing the game to the public in multiple iterations.
At $34.99, gamers can grab themselves a copy of the Standard edition. It comes with the game with a reversible cover packaging and The Clash at Demonhead memorial concert ticket. For those who are willing to burn some cash for a premium, there’s also the KO Edition. Essentially, the cream of the crop among available options, it packs bells and whistles in addition to the contents seen in the Classic Edition that could satisfy a hardcore Scott Pilgrim fan.
