Sekiro is the latest game from developers FromSoftware, the minds behind the famously challenging Souls games. It is also arguably the most difficult of them all.
Not only does the game demand lightning-quick reflexes, unbridled concentration, and the tenacity to overcome dying 10,000 times, it also forces you to go through all of it on your own.

Sure, the Souls games were tough (really tough), but at least you had the option of phoning in a friend to help you tackle the challenges together.
Now, thanks to modder Luke Yui, Sekiro fans can enjoy a pretty decent replica of the Souls multiplayer through his Sekiro Online mod.
The unofficial mod adds player-vs-player (PvP) and co-operative game modes to the previously single-player-only title. While it may not be perfect by any means, the few-months-old project is pretty awesome, considering it was done by only one person in such a short period.
Gamers itching to try the mod should expect a few bugs and crashes here and there, and should also be aware that progress in the game affects all parties involved. Meaning, if two players take down a boss together, the game progress applies to both people, unlike in the Souls games.
Here are some of Sekiro Online’s features:
Bear in mind that the mod only works for the Steam version of the game. For more information about Sekiro Online and instructions on how to get it to work, check out the mod page here.
Sekiro made its debut on March 22, 2019, and was immediately met with overwhelmingly positive reviews all around. The game was praised for departing from the trademark Souls formula while still feeling familiar enough for fans.
Critics and gamers loved the fluid swordplay, innovative combat system, and the fact that the game further pushed the envelope when it came to split-second reactions.
Another thing that was unanimously applauded was the spectacular level design and the level of freedom that came with using the grappling hook to explore it all.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
