'Selling Sunset' season 3 to feature Stause's divorce and Quinn's wedding

Selling Sunset fans are in for a treat. The American reality TV series is returning to Netflix for a third season.

More drama is coming to the Selling Sunset and fans are already looking forward to catching new episodes.

Selling Sunset season 2 just dropped and it seems like fans have already watched all eight episodes. No surprise there as it dropped right in the middle of quarantine and Netflix subscribers are binge-watching more than ever.

So now fans are waiting for the third season. There aren’t a lot of details yet but here are some of what is known so far.

Finished filming

According to Harper’s Bazaar, the Oppenheim group will be back soon despite the COVID-19 outbreak. In fact, Netflix has already renewed it for the third run.

Aside from that, sources reveal that season 3 has already been filmed. This means that there is no delay for this real estate reality series unlike most TV shows that are experiencing today because of production shutdown.

The series will live on to feature more of the drama surrounding the cast Christine Quinn, Chrishell Stause, and their fellow real estate agents Heather Rae Young, Maya Vander, Mary Fitzgerald, and Davina Portratz.

Season 3 release date

According to Digital Spy, Selling Sunset season 3 will premiere on August 7 already. It’s also going to come with a total of eight episodes just like its predecessor.

Fans are thrilled that the wait for the show’s return isn’t even that long. Before they know it, the show is back to reveal what happens next.

Spoilers

Before the second season closed, the show teased a quick snapshot of what is about to unfold next.

For starters, season 3 is expected to delve into the personal life of Stause whose marriage with This Is Us actor Justin Hartley failed last year.

The couple separated in November 2019 after Hartley filed a divorce from his wife of two years. The teaser showed Stause opening up about her heartbreak as well as the whereabouts of the Oppenheim Group colleagues after learning the issue via the Internet.

Stause previously expressed in interviews that she was “dreading” to have that aspect of her life be included in the series. So it’s most likely that it’s the aftermath that the fans will be seeing.

Moreover, season 3 is also said to feature Quinn’s wedding to Christian Richard. Season 2 ended with Fitzgerald’s wedding to Romain Bonnet so next time around it’s going to be Quinn’s turn.

The Dallas native realtor tied the knot on December 25, 2019 with “a gothic winter wonderland-themed wedding.” Considering Quinn, her wedding day is surely unforgettable and Netflix will be showing it all.

Stay tuned for more updates of Selling Sunset season 3.
