Seven Deadly Sins reveals bad news
Unfortunately, the good news was followed by a bad revelation. The official website of the series has announced that its season 5 will be delayed. Apparently, the global pandemic has once again taken a toll on another upcoming release. The announcement declared,
“The Seven Deadly Sins: Fury’s Judgment was scheduled to be broadcasted and distributed from October 2020. However, we will postpone the broadcast due to the spread of the new coronavirus and COVID-19.”
Furthermore, the production committee of the show shared that the broadcast schedule will be announced once the detailed date and time has been decided. It will reportedly drop on the official TV anime website and official Twitter. The team concluded the message,
“We apologize to all of you who were looking forward to the anime season, but we kindly ask for your understanding.”
What to expect in season 5
Weekly Shonen Jump has already confirmed that Seven Deadly Sins: Fury’s Judgement will be the last season of the series. Considering this fact, it appears that the upcoming installment will feature the last few chapters of the manga.
The penultimate chapter of the manga confirmed the fate of Meliodas, Elizabeth, and the rest of the gang. Hence, it is expected that the fourth season will include scenes from Meliodas and Elizabeth’s marriage. Nevertheless, Meliodas and the other sins will still continue with their adventures in the forthcoming season.
All the previous cast members will return in season five. Devotees will witness once again Meliodas, Elizabeth, Hawk, Diane, Ban, King, Gowther, Merlin, as well as Escanor. Apart from these, many fresh faces will also appear in the forthcoming installment.
