High Fidelity season 2 could feature Shailene Woodley as part of its recurring cast.
Shailene Woodley is reportedly in negotiations to become a recurring cast member of High Fidelity season 2. If Hulu and Woodley’s camp come to an agreement, it will be her first project on the streaming platform.
It is unknown yet what character the Endings, Beginnings actress will play in the Hulu series. Since the series is set in New York, she will likely play a millennial living in the city.
It will be a big reunion for Shailene Woodley and High Fidelity star Zoë Kravitz. Woodley starred with Kravitz in the Divergent franchise, which produced three films. They also appeared together on the ensemble cast of Big Little Lies with Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman.

Will Hulu greenlight High Fidelity season 2?
Based on the critical response and increasing popularity of the first season, it looks like Hulu will renew High Fidelity. It will be interesting how the series will continue Rob’s storyline beyond the confines of the source material.

High Fidelity movie writers vs TV writers
The first season of High Fidelity received praise from critics for flipping the script of the previous film adaptation. However, the writers of the 2000 film adaptation believe that they should also get the credit for the TV series.
According to a report, D.V. DeVincentis and Steve Pink accused the Hulu series of directly lifting from their work. The two screenwriters said there are moments in the series that had similarities with scenes from the movie.
Regardless, DeVincentis and Pink clarified that they do not necessarily blame the show’s developers. They also said that they felt flattered at the show’s attempt to “embrace” the movie adaptation.
